Harvard Jolly-Designed Classroom Building at
Edison State College Opens

Classroom Building U, located on Edison State College's Lee Campus is a 2-story, 46,300 square foot building designed by Harvard Jolly Architecture.
The new facility includes 17 classrooms that were designed to allow for maximum flexibility. In addition, the building houses a 4,000 square foot multi-purpose room, curriculum library, dean's suite and faculty offices. Contemporary instructional technology was integrated throughout to allow for video conferencing and web-based courses.
"We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Edison State College in creating a new signature aesthetic for the campus as it continues its growth to serve the residents of Lee County," said lead architect on the project Phil Trezza, AIA, LEED AP, vice president of Harvard Jolly.
Completed in 14 months, the project's design and construction were fast-tracked to ensure completion before the start of the fall semester. The building is targeted to achieve LEED Silver Certification.
